Jørn Iversen visited the shop to look at guitars, and we struck up a conversation.
I found out that Jørn comes from the same small town where I went to school many years ago.
The town is called Gedsted, and back then, there was a punk band named Freshly Riots. They played at a school party, and I was deeply impressed by their performance.
As it turns out, Jørn played guitar in Freshly Riots. The band became well-known within the punk scene and played several gigs in Copenhagen.
Freshly Riots self-released their music on vinyl through their own record label called Bondeskiver.
Anyway, Jørn found out that we had just received a used Martin OMJM John Mayer guitar in the shop, and he asked if he could test it.
We hadn't prepared the guitar for sale yet because the bindings had come loose. However, Jørn said he knew a guy who could fix it for him.
He really wanted to buy the guitar because he used to own one and regretted selling it.
Today, Jørn plays in a duo called Holm & Iversen, a little different style than Freshly Riots😃

Today its 6 years ago, we got the keys and moved in at Landemærket 25 in Copenhagen.
The coming week we will launch several new expansions of products in the Drum Limousine Concept Store Copenhagen.
